Is it even feasable to say that you are protecting children by ammending COPYRIGHT law? We seem to be concentrating on the fact that this is an afront to everything that we hold dear in consideration to fair use and against all those like me who hate copyright almost in its entirety. But the issue here is that HATCH is exploting children by using their innocent stature to hide his true intentions behind such obviously decieptful practices! (please excuse my spelling...) You cannot protect children from exploitation by making it harder to copy music! This is rediculous, and my only hope is that the other members of congress will uphold a little bit of decency and see this for what it is - not to mention protect my rights to use the damned VCR.
