While we wait for legislators to take control for us, through the laws, we can begin a discussion. You have raised the issue, expressing quite eloquently, that many are unhappy with how our government/oligarchy treats us as individuals. I think, personally, the time has come to address how we communicate with our legislators. So much of what we do in our daily lives, is controlled through congressional committees, and yet, we have no way to let those committee members know how we feel, except to contact our state representatives. It's time the committees opened up to American citizens, don't you think? Try contacting a representative sitting on a Congressional committee that is not from your state. It's frustrating, rude, disrespectful, and quite effective, if one is trying to govern a country without public input.
