Taking hard looks

Speaking of a time for all good antitrust lawyers to come to the aid of the internet, the proposed settlement between ICANN and Verisign is now in a 24-day public comment period. The tentative agreements would settle their dispute, which included claims arising under 1 Sherman Act and 4 Clayton Act. I'd be very interested in hearing the opinions of reputable attorneys as to whether or not the settlement agreements seem to be in the public interest. This will affect the operation of the .com gTLD.
